Dr. Phillips teaches the 2nd year course Venture Capital and Private Equity and specializes in private equity, mergers, and the impact of financial decisions on firms' strategic decisions. He is also a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) and a visiting research professor at Tsinghua University in Beijing.

Le Vinh Danh is the President of Ton Duc Thang University, Vietnam. He is a professor of Finance and International Business at Ton Duc Thang University. Le Vinh Danh was also a Fulbright International Exchange Scholar at George Washington University, USA. As the President of the university, he has involved in organizing several international conferences in Ton Duc Thang University and partners such as in Tomas Bata University and University of Economics, Prague, Czech Republic.

Professor Le Vinh Danh’s research interests are corporate finance, financial markets and international economics. He has authored, co-authored and edited some 40 articles published in finance and economics journals. He is also the author and co-author of 7 finance and economics books.

Rajesh P. Narayanan is a professor and Director of Graduate Studies- PhD Program, Department of Finance, Louisiana State University. His research focuses on banking, financial markets and financial. He has co-authored of one economics and finance book. His researches have published on many leading jounals such as Jounal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of Financial Service Research, Journal of Applied Corporate Finance, Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, Journal of Financial Economics.

Andrei Simonov is Professor of Finance at Michigan State University, a CEPR Research Affiliate in the Financial Economics program, Scientific Director of Research Center for Empirical Finance at Gaidar Institute for Economic Policy (Moscow, Russia), J. P. Morgan Visiting Professor of Finance at New Economic School, and a Research Associate in Stockholm International Corporate Governance Institute. His research interests include asset pricing, individual portfolio decision and behavioral finance. Andrei is recipient of several grants and awards.

His work is regularly presented at leading finance conferences including American Economic Association, American Finance Association, Western Finance Association, European Finance Association, CEPR and NBER meetings. His publications appear in leading Finance and Management journals including, among others, Journal of Finance, Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Finance, and Management Science. He serves on Editorial Boards of Management Science, Financial Management, Journal of Empirical Finance, and Russian Economic Journal. At MSU, he is Academic Director of Financial Markets Institute.
